Spent 4 nights in a Family Suite and enjoyed the spaciousness, especially with three single beds that worked great for our kids. The bathroom had been nicely renovated, and it was generally clean. We found the location perfect too, as it’s just a short stroll to places like Salamanca Place and the Maritime Museum. One thing that stood out was the minimal road noise, allowing for restful nights despite being close to the city center.

The restaurant was great with a varied menu, I tried warm dishes. The location was brilliant, relatively near Theatre Royal.

A lovely and reasonably priced room with great view from balcony and twin beds, as for instance. Great location in restaurant & breakfast with views of the mountain. Adjacent to Salamanca Place where the famous markets are held at on Saturday mornings, the airport by Skybus, and shopping centre. The hotel of choice in Hobart.

Bathroom lighting is too intense!!! Carpeting in the hall is worn and gives an unkempt impression.

Close proximity to the city and shopping, all within easy walking distance. The mountain is only a short drive, about 20 minutes away. Good value for money hotel, with good restaraunt and bar facilities. Very friendly staff and lovely soft and huge bath towels.
The lack of off street parking available now, due to the new development on what was the former carpark.

The place provides fantastic prices. The single room overlooks mountain and includes coffee & tea making machines and fridges. The location is comfortable and they have parking onsite. There is Vanny's Cafe and Takeaway nearby for a cup of coffee. The restaurant is particularly good, serves delicious dishes: D

The restaurant served perfectly cooked steak, and the room was spacious with comfy beds. A bit of a downside was the breakfast buffet running low on food at times. A good experience!

The restaurant had awesome service and excellent cuisine.
Room service was really booked out one night due to wet weather (lot of people eating in) perhaps they could hve offered a packet of chips or something like that which was easy to deliver on one of their deliveries to the same floor.

For one night it certainly was adequate - walking distance to Constitution Dock and centrally located.

The room was spacious and well-furnished, with a comfortable bed. The restaurant downstairs served a fantastic menu, and the good shower had great water pressure. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

What you'll love and what you won't
Rooms were impeccably maintained and featured all necessary amenities. The ability to access the downtown area on foot for shopping and dining was a definite plus.
Some staff lacked efficiency in addressing minor maintenance issues, which detracted from the experience .
